Okay .. the title maybe super random and i don't even know why i'm in a mood to write this kind of post, if you're not interested in politics, you might want to skip this post :p.

If you live in Jakarta, you'll probably know who are the names and yes, tommorow will be the second round in voting for the next governor for Jakarta. I don't know why, but i'm kinda excited about it o_o

At first i didn't even know a thing that there will be a voting thing for the next governor thing, until one of my friend told me about this. Usually, I don't really care about politics and all lol. But this time, maybe because of the unbearable traffic jams in Jakarta .. omg. In my living area, imagine for only having two lanes for transportation and then suddenly, one of the lanes are under construction for busway. So, its like basically, the other transportations only have one freaking lane for them to pass. Crazy much? I don't want more stupid traffic please.

A few days ago, while i was in my grandma's house to meet my cousins, all the elders were watching some sort of a debate between the current governor and the-soon-might-be-the-next governor. 0_0 But i guess (Om) Jokowi & Basuki can help this (?). Who knows!

Today I met with some of my friends and we talked about this too lol. It's kinda surprising, their birth came before me (means that they turned 17 earlier than me, but they aren't allowed to vote o_o. What is this .. And i also heard that in some areas, there will be no voting where there are more chances of  no 3 getting more votes. Is that even fair? And i also heard some crazy stuffs like, some people saying that the one who votes no 3 means something bad blablabla -_-

Anyways, my cousins showed this video to me and i think its pretty cute and the lyrics are 100% true!

There are even the bigbang gangnam style about this thing. ckck. guess this topic is uber populer huh? ;p

p.s. I'm only sharing my thoughts, okay? ><

finally! my result has been announced this morning and its quite .. unexpected to be honest, but i'm quite happy with it :)
went to universal with erika and we chit-chat-ed, gossiped. universal has changed A LOT. when i peek-ed the staff room, all i could see were new faces
so far, jakarta has been really good. i'll post something "useful" soonish!

sorry for being hiatus for such a long time ! *as if someone reads my blog*. just got back to hometown two days ago and so far soo good :)
actually i have a lot of things to write, but .. i seriously don't kow where to start. three weeks ago, my auntie and my two cousin visited sg and so i migrated to city square :D and a week ago, my family and the other cousins came to sg . happier than ever. exams over and the GPA result will be out soon. out of the 7 subjects, i'm kinda unsure with 2 subjects. i'm really hoping it will turn out in a positive way. i'll post something tommorow ! :)

here we go again

in my last post, i mentioned about the return of my music life. so here it goes ..

last week, me and amel went to orchard aiming to eat ayam penyet ria only. then all of a sudden i had a thought of going to a guitar shop which my classmate mentioned before. since i have never go to funan (the area of the guitar shop), so it was somewhat like an adventure going there. the bus passed by the "Olden Biritsh" area in Singapore!

as we reached there, i was stunned! its like the whole ground level full of music instruments :o mostly guitars though. then i saw a black guitar which tempted me like anything .. but at that day, i ended up not buying anything. then we went to city hall and esplanade. we stopped by max brener and had some choco fondue :9

a few days more .. i suddenly had a thought of buying either the black guitar or an ukulele. so last monday, i went there again to buy an ukulele. i was having a dilema at that shop though lol, cuz the price of the ukulele and the guitar that i want is somewhat the same

to be frank, i look mega stiff there . at first, i wanted to only look at my chords but it looked kinda weird and i think its better to face to the camera .. and don't expect much !  i made this cover 2 days after i bought that ukulele, so yea :s i even said "oops" somewhere if you noticed . i'll practice harder!

Anyways! I'm back to music now :) (finally after years having hiatus on playing music instruments!). Bought an ukulele two days ago and i'm loving it! I still prefer a guitar though. I'll post something about this soon !

this post is going to be filled with only words and words, so if you find it boring .. don't read

first of all, i'm not going to mention any names and i don't intend to be offensive or anything like that. my rent place here is like our version of jersey shore. well .. so here's the thing.

my two roomies always have their science tuition on thursday and the teacher whom teaches them is a guy. last week, me and my other housemates were studying outside in my rent place's living room. in the living room here, there are two parts, the dining table and the sofa part. we were studying in the "dining table" part which i gotta say is more convenient for studying but when the teacher came, we moved to the sofa part. all of a sudden, that teacher came to us and he said with a sarcastic stupid smile, "you guys are very very noisy, can you guys either move out to other place or keep quiet?" . we were completely stunned.

but since we really wanted to study, we kept our mouth shut and continue studying.  okay i admit it we talked, but we didn't talk until like .. very very noisy. i don't know what's wrong with his ear, really. the teacher and my roomies ended up making super big noise. we can barely study, so me and my housemates ended up going to the nearby seven eleven.

and yesterday .. maybe the teacher was looking for my roomies, he suddenly appeared in my room! he didn't even knock the door and out of the blue, he said "hi" -_- . helloooo.. entering to a girls'  room without knocking? well if its my brother or someone close, its still tolerate able, but this? a random teacher. one of my housemate was going to have her finals in the next day and their noise (the teacher and my roomies) were unbearable. fed up, she ended up asking them to lower the volume, in chinese. when she entered her room, since her room is the nearest to the living room, she overheard them saying, "that indonesian knows mandarin?". yes, they were completely surprised. then the teacher told them "indonesians nowadays understand mandarin. you guys better be careful of em' "

i was speechless

they think that we don't understand mandarin? to be frank, i don't really speak mandarin here, but i do understand chinese. i'm chinese blooded, how can i don't understand even a tiny bit?

me n my housemate ended up going to downstairs to buy something, then we met our other 2 housemates. we told them about whats happening. so on our way back home, one of my housemates shouted purposely, which unfortunately landed in my right ear. then all of a sudden, that teacher said something .. he thought that the two housemates were gangster intruding to the house. rage grew even more. when those two people entered the room, the teacher said "i don't care. i'm not afraid of them. if they want to fight, let's fight"

what the .. -_-

despite of this kind of drama, i think i like living here even more .. me and the other housemates got even closer and we spend quite a lot of time joking and all . and this particular block has become the noisiest unit (out of the other 19 units) which gets the most complain lol
